Our 1/8 Beef Share is the easiest way to stock your freezer with Waseda Farms grass-fed, grass-finished beef from Wisconsin and Missouri – a balanced bundle of ground beef, roasts, and steak-night favorites.

All weights are approximate and vary slightly from animal to animal.

Ground beef – approx. 30 lbs

• 30 × 1 lb packages of ground beef

Roasts & stew meat – approx. 16.5 lbs total

• 2 × Chuck Roasts (approx. 2.5 lbs each)
• 1 × Round Roast (approx. 3.5 lbs)
• 2 × Brisket Roasts (approx. 3 lbs each)
• 2 × 1 lb packages of Stew Meat

Steaks & kabob meat – approx. 7 lbs total

How much freezer space do I need?
Plan on roughly 2–3 cubic feet of freezer space for a 1/8 beef share (an average over-the-fridge freezer can often handle this if mostly cleared).

How many people will a 1/8 beef feed?
On average, this size works well for a small family (2–4 people) for 2–4 months, depending on how often you cook beef. If you cook beef several times a week, expect to go through it faster; if you cook it once a week, it can stretch longer.

Are the exact cuts and weights guaranteed?
No – every animal is different. The total weight will be close to the range listed, but individual cut sizes and counts can vary slightly. You will always receive a balanced mix of ground, roasts, and steaks in this option.

Customize Your Package

• Roasts, stew meat, and ground beef can be customized – we can adjust these cuts or add more to your package.
• Steaks can be decreased, but not increased – because each animal yields a limited number of steaks, we can reduce the steak amounts in your package but can't add more.

To customize, you must contact us. We won't reach out about customizations, so if you'd like to change your package, please contact us and let us know. Customizations change your price – adding roasts or ground beef, or removing steaks, will adjust your package price, and we'll update your pricing once we hear from you.
