Temple Grandin Facility
In 2008, Waseda Farms learned about Colorado State University professor of animal science Dr. Temple Grandin. She studied animal behavior and understood that under stress cattle go in circles to calm down. Through extensive research and development, she created a unique system known as the Temple Grandin Handling System.
Waseda Farms invited Dr. Grandin and Mark Deesing to design one of their cattle handling systems, the first in the state of Wisconsin and the smallest they had ever designed. This revolutionary system allows for just one person to manage the entire herd—all while keeping the animals stress free.
