Certified Organic chickens that were previously our egg laying hens for 12-16 months. Perfect for your family booyah, stew, and chili recipe. They have all the nutrition of good pasture-raised chickens. Or maybe it's time to make your own nutritious chicken bone broth.
Due to their age, these birds require long and slow, moist cooking to make them more tender and delicious. These are not ideal for roasting.
Approximately 2-3 lbs. per hen.
