Easy Beef-Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Waseda Farms ground beef
  • 4 large bell peppers (any color)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Bell Peppers: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Lightly sprinkle the insides with salt and set aside.

  2. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, rice, marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  4. Stuff the Peppers: Place the peppers in a baking dish. Spoon the beef mixture evenly into each pepper, pressing it down slightly to fill completely.

  5. Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle the tops with mozzarella cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Serve: Let the stuffed peppers cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy a wholesome, flavorful meal that’s easy to prepare!
